“Drunkorexia” is the combination of disordered eating and heavy alcohol consumption. Anorexia by itself can cause long term brain damage by depriving the brain of adequate nutrition especially during these developmental years then combine that with alcohol a serious problem. Parents be aware of these signs it is real and the sooner your teens can get treatment sometimes the better the outcome.
