It was helpful in many ways. M daughter came home!!! I am glad that she returned. I feel for everone out there that has a run away. It is as your life stops still, no where to turn, nothing to really do. It is like I am emotionally held hostage by the one I love more then life itself. My prayers go out to all of you who have and are walking in my shoes. Bless you and your loved ones. I thank you all for your postings. It was helpful in many ways.

Hopefully you've called the police, I think you only have to wait 24 hrs. My son has run away in the past and I know other parents who have had runaways. It is so scary but kids these days are pretty resourceful. They have friends who will shelter them and unfortunately other parents will shelter them without informing the other parent. I agree that you should look into attending al-anon meetings. It really helps in situations like this because it prepares us to better deal with our child once they return home. This could just be a manipulation move on her part. Please continue to let us know how you are doing and I will pray for her speedy and safe return.
