What is the meaning of the perfect Christmas? Having the house look perfect and preparing the perfect meal so that you appear to be the next Martha Stewart? Is this really what the spirit of Christmas is about? Having a holiday that looks like a magazine cover? The *imperfect* Christmas could be the secret for the *perfect* Christmas.
Holidays bring families together, sometimes reluctantly, so why not make it a special time together, forgo all the extras and create happy family memories that will live on forever. Make it a time to remember with joys of being together, laughing and letting go. Abandon the idea with perfect stress on this special day and make it the best imperfect Christmas ever by creating relationships built on lasting loving memories. After all the best gift is happy Christmas memories.
TroubleTeenBlog wishes you a perfect imperfect Christmas thanks for reading, commenting and your continued support for our Troubled Teens throughout the year.

So glad to hear it! The holidays are for “everyone’s enjoyment”. May it be Merry and Bright.
You are so right. I gave up on the perfect house, perfect matching outfits, and perfect tree a long time ago. It is very liberating and allows me to enjoy my family and thereby for them to enjoy the holiday too – nothing worse than a stressed out mom on Christmas Day who is hosting 15 people for brunch – really very tense that way. Now I do what I can, ask for help when needed, and let the rest fall by the wayside.
Merry Christmas to you!
