Condoleezza Rice shares with an audience at the all-girls Mercedes College in Perth, Australia last week that she is looking forward to getting back to shopping in the Northern California Boutiques at the end of President Bush’s term.

It is difficult to get a tattoo before you’re 18 without parental consent, but one out of four American adults between the age of 18-30 have a tatoo. Those that get tatoos, 1/5 are unhappy with their tattoos, while “only about 6% seek removal”.  Removing Tattoos: Who Does It and Why

MySpace is making headlines, this time in a positive way to help find a run away teen,  Missing Teen Found through My Space. This in not the first story I have heard where families have  resorted to MySpace to find their run away teens. One family solicited the teens friends through MySpace and offered a reward for any information on the teens where abouts. The reward may have been key, not many teens can pass up making extra money.  This is a good reason to get your teens sign on information,  if they will share it with you!

This is the saddest story of all; when our children at any age are not safe at school. Lawrence King was in the 8th. grade when a classmate shot him dead for being openly gay.  Murder in the 8th Grade, who is at fault for this hate crime? The school, the parents, or the community? Obviously our schools and communities do not have the resources to handle the life situations our teens are confronted with today.
